Trying again! I guess you could say I have abandoned this blog for the last two months. So much going on. Improv class, plus two or three nights of improv watching a week, acting class once a week, balloon fiesta, and my singles group. And on my rare"off-nights," I curl up with an obscure movie. So I'm just going to make a 15-30 slot in each day to type random ramblings. Let's see if this works.
RIP Jelly Doughnut Boy. Saw a disturbing piece on the local news last week. Brian Traxler, one of my favorite players of the late 1980s, early 1990s Albuquerque Duke's baseball team has passed away at the age of 37. Traxler was usually at first base, and still holds the record for games played, total bases and doubles. Brian was a big fellow, so much so that we nicknamed him "Jelly Doughnut Boy," in reference to what his staple food must have been. He was named most popular player on many occasions, and was a very likeable own to earth guy. No cause of death has been stated.
