Come to my Bookshop. Meet an Author. Buy a Book. Or Two. Read Them. Be Happy.

From October 9th through the 15th, I am hosting seven authors during six book signings at my shop. All events are from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM each day, at Treasure House Books and Gifts, 2012 South Plaza NW, Old Town Albuquerque. For more information, call 505-242-7204. Here is the schedule:

Monday, October 9: Joyce Fay, author of The Adventures of Bro and Tracy. This is a wonderful book featuring photographs of Joyce's two dogs in vaious New Mexico locations. A great gift for your favorite dog lover. For more information, click here.

Tuesday, October 10: Aimee and David Thurlo, Southwestern Mystery Writers. This highly prolific duo have three different mystery series, featuring Navajo sleuth Ella Clah, vampire Navajo cop Lee Nez (my personal favorite), and Sister Agatha, a Harley-riding nun. Wednesday, October 11: Ana Baca, author of Mama Fela's Girls. A novel of three strong women in Northern New Mexico during the height of the Great Depression. Visit the UNM Press Web Site for more.

Thursday, October 12: Pari Noskin Taichert, Southwestern Mystery Author. Pari was nominted for two Agatha Awards for her smart and funny mysteries, The Clovis Incident and The Belen Hitch. Check out her great website for more.

Friday, October 13: Slim Randles, author of Sun Dog Days. Slim is a regular columnist for New Mexico Magazine. His novel is about a man torn between the modern world and the cowoy life. Visit him here.

Saturday, October 14: Regina Romero, author of Flora's Kitchen: Recipes from a New Mexico Family. This is a wonderful cook book filled with New Mexico family traditions and food.
