All Hail the Birthday Queen. Karen's birthday bash was a rousing success yesterday. The Queen was pleased. The trip up to Santa Fe was interesting though, as we got lost on our way to La Fonda. We travelled in two cars, Barbara driving one, Vivian, the other. Vivian had all the birthday goodies in her SUV. We stopped to let Karen out in front of the hotel, and everyone wanted me to get some of the birthday gifts and stuff out of Vivian's SUV. Someone says "Vivian is right behind us." so I jump out of the car and pound on the window of the SUV behind us to get them to pop the trunk. What I get is the horrified, ashen face of some poor scared-out-of her wits New York Jewish looking tourist lady who probably thought she was being car-jacked. Ooops, sorry dear lady, Vivian is TWO cars behind us. Oh well, I'm just there to entertain.
On-again, Off-again. Sue kinda talked me back into having the Oscar Party, but last night, I find out almost no one, including Sue, actually planned to attend or had the time to attend. So now the party's off, and shall stay off! Frankly I'm glad, because now I can just focus on doing a good 3 minutes of comedy at the Laffs class.
